Dental lnsurance and Fees
We take the insurance burden off of your shoulders by verifying your benefits and filing claims on your behalf. We will find out specifically what your particular plan covers and seek to help you maximize your insurance benefits.
With that said, insurance rarely covers the cost of treatment at 100%. Therefore, in order to assist you and avoid surprise balances, we track your insurance payments and let you know of any delays or problems.
You'll be responsible for any amount the insurance payment does not cover, but the good news is that our fees are extremely competitive in the northern New Jersey area, and we have several payment options available to parents in order to keep our services accessible.

Treatment Room Protocol
At Dental Kidz, for initial and recall examinations the parent is invited into the treatment area to obtain useful information in order to optimize their child’s health. However, for subsequent treatment we ask that parents remain in the waiting area. Don't be alarmed if your child cries or exhibits some form of separation anxiety as these are normal responses for a child.
The doctor and staff and well trained in calming apprehensive children. We find that parents in the treatment room are distracting for both the child and the doctor. Many children behave differently when they know their parent is watching and may feel if they act out enough their parent will “rescue” them. For these reasons we ask that you respect this policy.
Cancellations
We understand sickness and emergencies may prevent you from making scheduled appointments. Out of courtesy to others, please contact us at least 48 hours prior to your child's appointment should you need to reschedule appointed treatment for non-emergency reasons. We will reschedule your child for the next possible appointment.
Emergencies
We have doctors on call 24 hours a day. If you need to reach us please call the office at 973-639-1000.
