Lezli Levene Harvell, D.M.D.,
Pediatric Dentist & Co-Founder
Dr. Lezli is the co-founder of
Dental Kidz. She grew up in
Westchester County, NY and is a dual
citizen of the United States and
Jamaica. She graduated with a B.A.
in English from
Spelman College, in Atlanta and
received her dental education at the
University of Medicine and Dentistry of
New Jersey. Dr. Lezli completed her
advanced training in Pediatric Dentistry
at
Bronx Lebanon Hospital Center, an
affiliate of
Albert Einstein College of Medicine
in Bronx, NY where she was also a chief
resident. During her studies at Bronx
Lebanon Hospital she received extensive
training treating children under
sedation and general anesthesia.
Dr. Lezli received additional training
at the Rose F. Kennedy University Center
for Excellence in Developmental
Disabilities in NY on addressing the
unique needs of medically compromised
and special needs patients. Dr. Lezli is
a member of the medical staff at
St. Barnabas Medical Center in
Livingston, NJ. Dr. Lezli is the
oral healthcare advisor to the
Newark Preschool Council which is
the largest Headstart program in the
state of NJ, is a member of the New
Jersey Pediatric Oral Health Coalition,
is on the dental advisory board for
United Healthcare of NJ and a board
member of
Wynona’s House which is non-profit
organization that among many things
provides comprehensive mental health and
medical services for sexually abused and
severely physically abused children that
are residents of Essex County, NJ. Dr.
Lezli is a Diplomate of the American
Board of Pediatric Dentistry and is
board certified. Dr. Lezli has
been selected by parents as one of NJ's
Favorite Kids' Docs by
NJ Family
Magazine for the past four years. She is
a member of the
American Academy of Pediatric Dentistry
and the
American Dental Association. Her
special interests are prevention of
childhood obesity and increasing
awareness of oral health and its impact
on overall health. Dr. Lezli lives
in Essex County with her husband Chris
and their 5 lovely daughters.
Christopher Harvell, M.B.A., CEO &
Co-Founder
Chris received his B.S. in
Electrical Engineering from
George Washington University. Upon
completing his B.S., Chris worked for the
management consulting firm,
Booz Allen in the Health Care,
Communications, Media & Telecom and
Financial Services Groups. At Booz Allen, he
focused on corporate and business strategy
formulation, organizational development,
business performance, process improvement,
and technology strategy development. In
addition, while at Booz Allen he founded a
recruitment program focused on identifying
minority talent. He also worked on a
pro-bono basis with Bill Clinton’s Harlem
Small Business Initiative where he was
responsible for identifying and implementing
areas for operational improvements and
increasing the financial viability of
selected Harlem small businesses. Chris then
attended
Columbia University’s Graduate School of
Business and received his M.B.A. with a
concentration in Finance and Real Estate.
Prior to co-founding Dental Kidz, Chris was
an investment banker in the Real Estate
Finance Group at
Credit Suisse based in NY.
Associates
Reem Hemantharaju, D.D.S., Pediatric Dentist
Dr. Reem grew up in Kuwait
and moved to the United States at the age of
11. She graduated with a B.A. in Biology
from
Rutgers University New Brunswick. Dr.
Reem received her dental education at
New
York University College of Dentistry. She
completed her advanced training in pediatric
dentistry at
Harlem Hospital Center in New
York. During her residency, she received
extensive training in treating children
under general anesthesia and sedation. Dr.
Reem also received extensive training in
treating special needs and medically
compromised children. Dr. Reem is a member
of the American Academy of Pediatric
Dentistry. Dr. Reem lives with her husband
in Somerset County, NJ.
Bo Y. Yun, D.D.S., M.S., Orthodontist
Dr. Yun grew up in Southern California. She
received her undergraduate education at the
University of California at Berkeley and
graduated with B.A. in Molecular Cell
Biology. Dr. Yun earned her dental education
as well as completed her advanced training
in orthodontics at
Columbia University in
New York City. Dr. Yun is trained in growth
modification, dentofacial orthopedics and
meeting the complex needs of individuals
with craniofacial abnormalities and
congenital disorders affecting the facial
skeleton and teeth. She treats both children
and adults. Dr. Yun is a member of the
American Academy of Orthodontists and the
American Dental Association. She is Board
Certified by the American Board of
Orthodontics and holds Diplomate status with
the American Academy of Orthodontists. This
is a distinction that less than fifty
percent of orthodontists achieve. Dr. Yun
lives in Bergen County with her husband and
two lovely daughters.
